I writing this in complete and utter shock after seeing a somewhat concerning article on the news. A female teaching assistant has been fired from her job and is now looking at doing 16 months jail time for having sex with two 15 year old pupils.
How did this ever happen? I genuinely don’t understand how such a thing can ever happen. How on earth can a woman like this have ever been left along long enough with pupils to end up swapping phone numbers with them and then to go home and have sex with them. Our schools are simply not doing enough to protect our children and I have had enough I’m afraid.
I don’t know about you but I think it’s time that we spoke to the schools head on and voiced our concerns, we need more thorough checks.
I’m organising a meeting soon with other parents from my kids school and think that is possibly something that you should consider too.
